Liberal Hippy Politics, is a concept that faded into history during the late 70s or early 80s after hitting its peak around 1972.
The hippy political movement was an anti-establishment force that was organized by anti-war college students. In 1968, Bobby Kennedy was the first presidential candidate supported by the hippies and George McGovern was the last major hippy supported candidate in 1972.
During the 70s, the hippies grew up and became yuppies and supported moderate mainstream candidates like Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.

Seriously, there are members of the Republican Party that worship the second worst president ever! (after GW Bush) The republitards invoke his name in debates and even Bush43 said he wanted to be just like Reagan.
The Reagan Administration caused serious, long-term damage to this country--reagannomics, tripled debt, "star wars," union bashing, education cuts, pro-business/anti-worker policies and creating the Taliban to fight the Soviet Union in Afganistan! Yet Republicans still think he's great. WTF?!

Get the Reagan Worshippersmug. A term describing the faulty logic of Reaganomics. Also known as trickle down, the theory is that if you reduce income (i.e. cut taxes) then you somehow generate more revenue. Obviously, this is not rational thinking.
The proof that this did not work (as if anyone needed it) is the fact that the national debt tripled during the Reagan Administration.

Get the Reagan Mathmug. The Party of NO! is a name the Republican Party earned as a result of voting NO on any proposal brought up in Washington by the Majority Democrats since January 2009.
The G.O.P. is so twisted by hate for President Barack Obama that they refuse to cooperate in anyway with Democrats. They continue to vote against Democrats' ideas while not presenting any good alternative ideas of their own.

Get the President Nixonmug. A highly inappropriate term for the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts!
In December 2010 the tax cuts were set to expire. President Obama and the Congressional Democrats wanted to let the tax cuts for the richest 2% expire and extend the tax cuts for the other 98%. Also at this time, the federal unemployment payments were set to end. Congressional Republicans didnot want to extend the unemployment benefits because it was "too costly," so they held the long-term unemployed hostage until Democrats extended the tax cuts for the richest 2%!!!
Obviously, the Democrats went along for the sake of the unemployed and to keep the tax cuts for those that actualy needed them. Republicans showed their true colors (caring only for the rich) while the Democrats were again the ones showing fiscal resposibility!

Get the Obama Tax Cutsmug. An assinine attempt to slow traffic in parking lots or on roads. These bumps are put in by assholes in an attempt to reduce speeds on main through roads in some residential areas. Speed bumps often result in cussing by the "victims" who want to exercise their rights to travel on smooth public roads. Often these pissed off people will speed up excessively after passing over a speed bump to spite the assholes responsible!
