Her name is Kathryn. I’m really smitten. Besides myself in fact. Such levels of stupidity. When I am in Kathryn’s presence; I am bestowed with the drunken limbs of a toddler. She is elegant, stylishly understated and when she speaks; she speaks in italics with a delicate geordie burr. She is almost the physical embodiment of a Belle and Sebastian song. Only Stuart Murdoch has never met Kathryn. If he did, he would probably die of writers block just trying to write a song that is as true as she is. So he should probably stay away for his own good. As for myself; I am willing to look more and more fallible next to words for as long as I am lucky to know her. I really do hope that you get to meet her one day…her favourite song is ‘birthday’ by The Sugarcubes. I jumped out of my skin with joy…
