the Khmer name for the well known character, the Monkey King. Mostly recognized as Goku in the US for his role in the hit anime series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. What a lot of people do not realize is that the legend of the Monkey King is well known throughout all of Asia. However in each country they have a different name for the character. In Japan he is called Son Gokū; in China he is called Sun Wukong; in Vietnam: Tôn Ngộ Không; in Cambodia: HotLaMon; Korea: Sonogong; Thai: Heng Chia/Sun Ngo Khong; India: Hanumon
