The Act of leaving Ones life force by “forgetting” or purposely leaving an object in your home. Thus providing the person a reason to remain in your life. Just like Voldemort stashes his life force in random places making him difficult to get rid of.

Don’t you hate when someone leaves their horcrux at your place as an excuse to see you!
