Menotay is the word used to describe any number between 17 and 18. You would count like this:
fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, menotay, eighteen, and so on...
fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, menotay, eighteen, and so on...
When the draft was brought up during the war Bob Hickle realized he didn't have to go. He was only menotay.
