can be a girls name, but usually a boy's in the 15th-18th century. nowadays it's a shorted version of Reynolds (like the aluminum foil), and if used by a boy; they will most likely be in the Hogwarts house "Slytherin", be into history, or will be a pyromaniac. In some instances if you tick off a "Reyn" he/she will either choose to ignore it or will passive aggressively get revenge (which will usually work worse than intended). "Reyns" are also very trustworthy, and will watch things go down with a bag of popcorn. If he/she sees a friend in danger, they will stop at nothing until they are satisfied that they are safe. In most instances a "Reyn" will be allergic to something weird, or will have a weird reaction to something normal. They are also really good at making weird friends, and good normal friends.

the term "Basketball-Present" was coined by Benjamin F. McMurry III, as a term used to describe a present that is given to someone else but ultimately meant for your self. - The term originated from a story in which the creator of the term (Benjamin F. McMurry) gave his father, (who was in no way affiliated with sports) a basketball for his Christmas gift. Ben's father of course had no use for the Basketball, so it inevitably returned back to him (Ben).
