Using the plural construction "we" rather than the singular "I": a characteristic common among latchers when attempting to imply a connection between oneself and a second party

Chloe: Are you going to watch the game tonight?
Sarah: Uh-huh. We'll be at your house at seven.
Chloe: "We"? You mean you & Mark?
Sarah: Yeah, me & Mark; "we."
Chloe: Oh. Kickin' it with the wheeze after just two dates, huh?
