A warrior cult of Chaos in the WarHammer 40,000 universe. They were primarily active during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade in retaliation against the Imperium of Man sometime in M41.750 to M41.820. Modeled on the lines of the Imperial Guard, and often made up of deserters from the Imperium, they were dedicated to the Blood God Khorne and were unhesitatingly loyal to their master, Archon Urlock Gaur.

Every soldier in this highly disciplined Chaos army personally swore allegiance to Gaur by slashing his palms on the jagged edges of the Archon's armour, hence the name "Blood Pact", since it was quite literally, a very intimate oath sworn in Blood.

Well trained, drilled and unflinching, and equipped with looted Imperial weapons or warped weapons produced on captured Forgeworlds, this army caused severe problems to the Imperial Crusade in the system, and was responsible for spawning many similar outfits in the Chaos armies modeled upon it, most notably the Sons of Sek.

They appear notably in the works of Dan Abnett, the famous novelist and author of the "Gaunt's Ghosts" series of books set in the WarHammer 40,000 universe, dealing with the exploits of the Tanith 1st and Only and their commanding officer, Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt.
We are the Blood Pact, we are legion, and we swear our loyalty to the God of Rage, Blood and Fury, most glorious Khorne, and to his trusted arm and scourge, our Archon Urlock Gaur. May we scourge the false Emperor's lackeys from the stars, for the glory of Khorne and the glory of the Archon!

An organisation in the Mass Effect Universe. Known for it's anti-alien and supposedly pro-human policies. Headed by an individual known only as The Illusive Man (real name Jack Harper).

It claims to promote purely human interests to give Humanity it's "Rightful" place in the galaxy. Also termed a Human Supremacist organisation. Is infamous for terrorism on a galactic scale against all non-humans as well as for unethical scientific experiments and dangerous research.

Cerberus supports the principle that any methods of advancing humanity's ascension are entirely justified, including illegal or dangerous experimentation, terrorist activities, sabotage and assassination. Cerberus operatives accept that these methods are brutal, but believe history will vindicate them.

Cerberus is one of the many enemies the player will face when playing the first and third games in the Mass Effect series. Curiously, they aid the player in the second game.

This organistaion maintains it's secrecy through a number of fronts, including political parties, aerospace industries, electronics corporations, charitable interests, etc. to cover up it's more questionable activities. Is believed to be enormously well-funded, normally through these front corporations as well as from wealthy human benefactors sympathetic to it's ideals.

They are easily recognizable by their white-yellow-black armour and uniforms, as well as their diamond-like logo.
- "Cerberus IS humanity! Strength for Cerberus is strength for every human!" = The Illusive Man
- "Our goal is the advancement and preservation of humanity. Nothing more, nothing less." = Miranda Lawson, Cerberus Officer
- "Earth first!" - Terra Firma Party, a front organisation for Cerberus
- "I need a better reason than 'It has scales' to go kill something." - Unknown Human criticizing Cerberus methods

Normally heard as a Mega-Kill Announcer status in Unreal Tournament 2004, Defence of The Ancients and Defence of The Ancients 2. It generally means that a certain player has got more than 9 kills in a row and is making an impressive kill-streak.

The announcement will normally come with the announcer saying "Holy Shit!" in slow motion, and a message on the screen along the lines of "<insert_player_name_here> is BEYOND GODLIKE! Someone KILL HIM!!"

This message usually indicates that the indicated player is almost impossible to kill one-on-one and needs to be killed by a team effort, or gang-killing (ganking). Needless to say, it has a demoralising effect on his/her opponents and the reward for killing/fragging such a player is also significantly high.
Kill Announcer: "Holy Shit!" PlayerName (Drow Ranger) is BEYOND GODLIKE! Someone KILL HIM!!
Player on opposing team: Fffffffffuuuuuuuu.............
Another Player on opposing team: This one is GG (Game Gone)
PlayerName: Trolololololol.....

(That's just a sample of a typical reaction to that kind of scenario)

Space Marine chapter in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe that was orginally created on 4chan. Has only the most irritated, insane, mad, generally angry Space Marines who can't be assigned to any other chapter due to their disregard for chain of command, general profanity and irritablity. Tend to carry out suicidal assaults - and win nonetheless.

Are generally led by Commissar Fuklaw, Egar, or any other equivalent of a pissed off Imperial Commissar.

Marines in this chapter also have anger-related names, often spelled backwards for humourous (?) effect. Examples include Ragequit, Muchdickery, Getoffmylawn, Dissep, Bitch Sodomiser of Death (BSOD), etc.

Normally also are recognized by their chant - "ALWAYS ANGRY! ALL THE TIME!"

Are also notorious for having Powerfeet and Powerfists - the Fists to smash the enemy's face in, the Feet to curbstomp and kick in the enemy's balls.
Random Imperial Guardsman -"Commissar, who are they?"
Random Commissar (in awe) - "They…are the Angry Marines. And they shall know no calm."
Angry Marine Sarge - "GOT THAT MUCH RIGHT, FUCKERS! WE'RE HERE TO CLEAN UP YOUR SHITTY OP! NOW GET THE FUCK OUT AND LET US WORK, YOU CUNTS!"
