An expression to indicate that you're keenly aware of what's *really* going on, and that you're "onto" a person's true intentions, and have direct insight into their thinking.
Down Syndrome Jason: "Hey Katie, wanna hang out after school today?"
Katie "Um...I would love to but...um...I'm really busy today. Maybe some other time. OK? Sorry, buddy. Bye."
DS Jason: But...you said that the last time I asked...I see. I got your number.

A moment taken to pause and recuperate (i.e., catch your breath) after engaging in some type of strenuous activity.
Zach: "Coach, I got this! Our team's down by 3, and the game's almost over. Ya gotta put me back in!"
Coach: "Zach, I already told you, Mike will finish for you. He's one of our best point guards! End of story. You're too banged up! Now, sit down, and take a breather!"
