Telling someone to go get a job implies telling them to end their continued presence on the internet and actually become a useful member of society instead of being a deadweight who sits inside all day arguing with people over trivial matters online. Telling someone to go get a job is tantamount to telling them to throw their entire life away and start anew in an unfamiliar and discomforting position.
