waffling 

Talking a lot whilst saying very little of any real use.

Can also be a "policy wonk". A person who looks into all the technical details of implementing a political policy, usually a back-room boy either in a political party or working for the government.
That's the general idea, we'll leave it to the policy wonks to figure out all the details.

To meet people in person, particularly at an event where you can network with other people. The actual pressing of flesh here refers to shaking hands with people.

A super-idiot. Whereas a normal idiot is a tool, a complete idiot is the entire tool kit.
Remember that geek from university? He was a complete tool kit.

A business buzzword meaning to give somebody a summary or progress report on the current situation.
Mainly used by idiots who want to be something they're not, ie successful businessmen.
