When you or your buddies try and smoke everything left in the bowl after its been passed around and there's nothing left but ash. Usually stoners who hit ass aren't smoked out enough and don't have enough to buy another bowl. Hitting ass may get you a tiny bit higher, but you'll also get a mouthful of tasty, black Scooby snacks.
