(origin: Alabama) name for the use of the "hang loose" symbol by a bro attempting to express their approval of another bro's actions, words, choice of polo shirt, etc. Also the official symbol of the bro to be used with another bro when taking pictures. Using the flomaton correctly is a delicate art, causing it to be found primarily in its natural habitat at Clemson University. Also able to be shortened to flo and floma
