gangsta 

Often someone who "rocks" or is "awesome" in modern hip-hop culture. They tend to misuse English but are not necessarily violent or uneducated as it may refer to rappers or break dancers. Often associated with heavy necklaces ("Bling") and often have experienced "street life" and modern rap or Hip-Hop.

"Yo man, we gangsta."
Translation: Hello. We are awesome.
