The beer effect 

The beer effect occurs when you are in a restaurant with someone you don't know that well, and everybody gets like water or diet coke, until you order a beer, and everybody changes their mind and gets beer too :-)

Paul: - "I'll have a diet coke."
Sarah: - "I'll have a glass of water."
Martin: "I'll have a beer."
Paul: - "You know what, i'll have beer too. I don't want the coke.
Sarah: - "I'll have a beer as well"
Martin: "Yeah. Thats the beer effect."

The beer tastes like shit

A statement issued by famous hockey star Teemu Selanne of the Anaheim Ducks when talking about the teams recent struggles.

"To lose night after night, it’s a terrible feeling. You can’t sleep well. The food doesn’t taste well. The beer tastes like shit."

Refers to when things are not going your way.

This has been a crappy few weeks. Failed a few exams, lost a job, broke up with my girlfriend.

The Beer Store 

n: where people in Ontario, Canada go to buy beer. They sell everything from Canadian brewed beer to imported beer, even beer related merchandise!

The beer store is also controlled by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) and was founded in 1927. As of 2007, there were 450 Beer Stores in operation across Ontario.

The Beer Standard 

The beer standard is a scale for measuring the attractiveness of an individual. The measurement is made in beers, for how many beers it would take to make a person look like a perfect 10. For example a perfect 10 would be a 0 on the Beer Standard Scale(BSS for short).

This scale does away with the ambiguity that is inherent within the "out of ten" scale.

That girl you hooked up with last night was about a 4 on the beer standard scale

the beer vendor 

While performing intercourse on a preferably fit and limber respectable female, the man tosses her legs up over his shoulders and embraces her by the arms. He then stands while still penetrating her, so she mimics the position of a sporting event beer vendor's tray, and walks to a different room whilst hollering "cold beer!". Extra points for going up or down a staircase.

We were boning on the living room couch but the dog started licking me so I tossed her into the beer vendor and went upstairs to the bedroom.
