Snowtorious B.I.G. 

Term used to define the Saturday, February 6 2010 storm that dropped 30+ inches on Washington, DC and its surrounding areas, as well as the aftermath of chaos that ensued. The storm was the largest in 90 years in the region, and it effectively shut down the city for 84 hours (and was followed by another large storm on Wednesday, February 10, 2010). The term was first used by the AP.

Snowperbole 

The threat-level red panic and labeling of natural weather patterns as "snowpocalypse" and "SnowMFG" followed by preemptive school/office closing for a storm that, in actuality, produced 4 inches of accumulation.
Thanks to Bloomberg's snowperbole we don't have work today.

(n.) - word used to describe a hella large amount of snow, named after Hip Hop legend Biggie Smalls.

Also is a common slang word for cocaine.

Phrase used to describe an impending snow storm in regions of the country not used to much snowfall.
