The act of social-withdrawal typically around exam time. This seclusion from society is primarily for the purposes of studying. It typically occurs four times a year for college students, and twice a year for typical high schoolers.

Sorry, I can't go to the pre-exam party next week, I'm going into sephrontism. I don't want to fail my exams.
