A childhood game where you knock on someones door and then run away and hide and watch them come open it and see no one is there and laugh at how confused or annoyed they are!

Knock and Don't Run 

Knocking on the door of an unsuspecting victim and not running away.The objective is to see how long you can get the person to have their door open for.
Essentially the opposite of nicky nicky nine doors.
Popularized by Neg Dupree of the British TV show, Balls of Steel.

A game similar to Ding Dong Ditch without the Ditching in which you try to confuse the victim and get them pissed off.

knock while running 

A type of annoying gag that is aimed at unknown hotel patrons

The perpetrator stands at one end of a long hallway and sprints to the other end (in the direction of the elevators and staircase), while simultaneously knocking on as many hotel room doors as possible. Results vary, as efforts can yield anything from no response whatsoever, to a naked couple opening their door to see who or what has interrupted their lovemaking.

My stay in Cleveland sucked. I got so bored in the middle of the night that I pulled a knock while running on my neighbors.
