sister Temari) He has 3 puppets in his
arsenal: Karasu is used for offensive purposes, Kuroari traps opponents in its body to make them easier targets, and Sanshōuo protects Kankuro and his allies from enemy attacks. Early in the Manga, Kankuro shows that he dislikes anyone younger than him for the simple fact that they are
annoying yet, he is scared of Gaara for the fear of being killed. In part II (Shippuden) Kankuro becomes protective over Gaara (Kazekage) after he tells his brother his dreams & motives. Later when Gaara is kidnapped by Akatsuki member Deidara, Kankuro risks his life to save him but fails. Kankuro also wears make-up represtenting each time he creates a new puppet. His black clothes and
hood represent the
people during a
play or show that used catwalks to operate equipment. (i think) In the Japanese anime, his seiyū is Yasuyuki Kase, and his English voice actor is Michael
Lindsay.
