beckon call 

A misinterpretation of the phrase "beck and call" such as "at ones beck and call" meaning to be at willful readiness to fulfill another's orders or commands. It is usually used by people who are attempting to sound more well read than are are in actuality.
"Professor Stackhouse has us at his beckon call."

“becking.” To be “becked” is to be held up as such an evil and destructiv­e person that someone, somewhere, will interpret it as a call to eliminate that problem/person through violence.

This term is named after a fox news commentator that spews rhetoric often "targeting" specific individuals.
That guy is such a becker (someone who becks others). Glen Beck is a becker, Palin is a becker... what does that rhyme with.

That fox news commentator is becking that non-republican politician.
