The school of choice for self described experts who make ridiculous claims and attempt to back them up with "evidence" gleaned from google searches. Signs attendance include links to various fringe websites, blogs, and media outlets well known for twisting facts to suit the position of the writer(s). Other signs include lack of credible evidence (or inclusion of anecdotal evidence) , the writer/blogger thinking they understand science better than scientists, and talk of government conspiracies.

The idea that you are an expert because you "googled it'.

Google University 

A social media phenomenon where a commenter attempts to demonstrate knowledge obtained by searching on Google. This person has no legitimate degree from an accredited institution in said subject/topic, but will use unverified & inaccurate sources from websites searched on the search engine to prove their point on the topic being discussed.
After reading a ridiculous comment from someone that posted a link:

"Oh look, someone got their degree from Google University".

University of Google 

When someone is over-reliant on Google for information, he or she is said to have matriculated at the University of Google. This is an especially appropriate characterization when individual is, by reputation, a major ignoramus who has attempted refashioned himself/herself into a pseudo-intellectual since the advent of the Internet.
Guy 1: Anthony is getting unbearable to be around. I'm sick of his dilettantish, whimsical, and flat-out stupid musings about string theory. As I recall, Anthony barely graduated high school and worked at McDonalds for ten years.

Guy 2: Yeah, well, he's currently enrolled at the University of Google.
