Foldie

A contraction of "Fat" and "Oldie" -- meaning one of those grumbling, fat old people that fill up that belovedly flawed island called "Britain". They can usually be found in couples riding bikes or on cruise ships. The females of the species tend to sport short, dyed ginger hair, yellow tinted glasses and woefully tasteless clothes. Their husbands (A person with whom "fold" women make a pact never to have sexual intercourse with) are more often then not called George, and are tall and skinny with massive ears and shrivelled faces. They also have a penchant for either gold or fishing depending on the specimen.

Elliot: Hey Pete, check out those foldies over there! Naaaaaasty!
Pete: Ewww, gross! Those legs.... Yuckaroo!

Straight Foldies

A colloquial term common in New Zealand for currency in the form of notes, hence the folding. Often used with regards to under the table transactions to avoid tax.

1: I've got $100 straight foldies yo!

2: I'll give you a discount if you pay straight foldies, so I don't have to put it through the till.

Foldy Hands

One who while talking dramatically, has a tendency to fold his or her hands in a crescent like shape. But not the the tasty crescents that the adorable pilsbury dough boy makes. Having foldy hands is not only on unattractive but also a sign of being a Piney, which is also very unfortunate. If you spot foldy hands, run away screaming.
