v. the act of conversing and spending time with friends and/or acquaintances with no real purpose other than to bask in their presence; ideally, rum is consumed, however is not necessary

Daniel: What do you want to do now until the movie starts?
Cynthia: Let's go rumchum with our pals.
Daniel: I'll bring the rum!
