Red Brigades 

(Brigate Rose)A revolutionary terrorist group in Italy. They formed in 1970 as a Marxist revolutionary group trying to seperate Italy from the Western Alliance. Most famous for their kidnapping and assasination of Prime Minister Aldo Moro in 1978. Now they have gone underground for a while, and not much has been heard about them since 1989 when they hardly managed to survive the Cold War. Not much has been heard from them in a while, and are now a very fragile group, with no original members.

If you go in Italy whatever the hell you do. Do NOT tell people you are American. And under no circumstances mention the Red Brigades unless you want to get shot.

Red brigades movement 

A millitant grass roots movement that seeks to form communist groups of mostly young people around the world, each group being called a red brigade and which seeks through armed struggle to form communist revolutionary governments to overcome the economic explotation of the worlds poor.

red hat brigade 

Colloquialism for attendees of IndyCar events, identifiable by the red hats they wear, who did not pay for their tickets and who are only attending because Marlboro had sent them free tickets vouchers in the mail; each Marlboro 'guest' gets a red hat when they exchange their voucher for a ticket at the track.

The crowd at that last crapwagon race was pathetic! The track has 100,000 seats but the place was only quarter full of gomers, if that, and most of those were members of the red hat brigade!
