A growing phenomenon seen in various "alternative" circles in which people, almost always cis men, are outwardly misogynistic or demeaning to women. Parallels can be drawn to the phenomenon of "post-irony," wherein absurd or questionable beliefs lie in a muddled grey area between sincerely held and ironic.

This seems to be the result of actual misogynistic beliefs being suppressed in the early 2010s "SJW" era in order to fit in with their peers and the later rebranding of those beliefs as a weird type of self-deprecating irony.

Post-misogyny can commonly be seen on social media, where memes about wanting a big tiddy goth gf were all the rage on twitter in 2017 and ostensibly "feminist", "leftist" men will brag about their sexcapades and complain about how horny they are.
Person 1: Oh, Malcolm? Ugh, THAT guy? He used to be a skater bro that complained about "fake bitches" and called people faggots, but then he got into Pitchfork, joined a midwest emo band, and added "feminist" to his twitter bio. Now he posts thirst traps on instagram with really gross captions, talks about beating his meat, and fawns over "hot goth babes." I think it's ironic, but I'm not sure...?
Person 2: Sounds like post-misogyny.
