Middlecare 

Middlecare - when you start to worry that the amount of aftercare needed for what you are doing is going to become unrealistic or unattainable so you stop in the process of the action to randomly and uncharacteristically provide your partner with a completely unexpected compliment, gift or reassurance.

"I was tearing into her so bad that I took a break to hand her a flower and remind her that she looks great with no makeup on...
