I saw you tonight...well early this morning (2/24/23 :)...
On the elevator, at the Hyatt
You just got off work
We actually were alone...for maybe 2min :(
I said hello and told you I saw you earlier that evening...
I could tell you were a little surprised

I could tell though that You didn't recognize me : (

I didn't say who I was because, well, that would start a much bigger conversation

And (trapped) in an elevator isn't really the place for that conversation
And I know you were just trying to get to your room, to get some sleep

I'm sorry, I froze.
I should've just told you my name...and see if you remembered me

I think maybe you've forgotten about me
or maybe you weren't expecting to see me there
Either way, I guess that's what I get for trying to rush things and not let God lead us.
