Dishwasher Chum 

The unsavory fluid, mostly water, left in upturned glassware, measuring cups and the crevasses of other items found in a dishwasher after full completion of a wash cycle. This fluid contains sediment, particles and other dissolved elements freed from these items during cleansing. On occasion these elements, though visible, cannot be linked to any food substance known to have been present at the time of the machine's loading.

GROSS! Everything in the machine turned upside down. Now I've got to dump all this nasty "dishwasher chum." out and rerun it all!

Dishwasher tablet 

A tablet that you put in the dishwasher to make the dishes clean. It also makes you really want to eat it but you can't because you will die if you do. It is also Sam's weapon of choice. He put it in his mother's smoothie before she went to yoga because she used to beat him. She beat him every day until she died.

Scientist 1: we've analysed the body 3 times and we still don't know how they died.

Scientist 2: this can only mean one thing. It was a dishwasher tablet!!!!!

Scientist 1: oh no, we need to evacuate the facility immediately!

Scientist 2: darn it! I wanted to do a Hot Butter McFungus later! DAMN!

A. When you are unsure if the dishes in the dishwasher are clean or dirty and you have to open the dishwasher to find out.

B. When you expect to find clean dishes in the dishwasher, but you open it to find dirty dishes.

A. "Do you know if the dishwasher ran last night?" "I'm not sure. It's Schrodinger's dishwasher."

B. <Opens dishwasher to find dirty dishes.> "Crap! Shrodinger's dishwasher!"

Dishonored 

a pretty fun game released in 2012. Kinda steampunk but instead of steam everything's powered by whale oil. Magic and a low/high chaos system to get a good or bad ending. You assume the role of royal protector Corvo Attano of the Empress of the Isles Jessamine Kaldwin, who is secretly your lover. Jessamine is killed by the assassin Daud and his men, and they kidnap your daughter Emily. You're framed for Jessamine's murder by the Royal Spymaster and sent to prison and tortured for 6 months, after which you start the game.

Person 1: hey dude have you played Dishonored?

Person 2: nah man never heard of it.

Person 1: aw man you should've seen me dismembering corrupt city watch guards!

dishlexia 

Dishlexia is a type of dish-washing disability whereby a person will wash all the dishes except for one. Usually the person will only realise once it's too late.
