Rephrasing a statement such that the concepts contained in the statement are simple enough for a being of lesser intelligence (ex. chimp or vb programmer) to understand.
Let me chimp it down for you - when I said we need to make the interface more intuitive, I meant "you need to learn HTML and fix that hideous piece of junk".

P.O.P, hold it down. 

Phrase that refers to a popular Vine video which took a phrase from a YouTube video of a women explaining her excuse for a crime she was being accused of. Now generals of the public use it as a joke for when they are accused of doing something wrong.

riding it down 

The process by which an ostensibly detrimental process is allowed to finish on the slim chance that it results in an unexpected benefit. Originates in platform games such as Super Mario Bros.
"How's that new contract going?"

"Oh, terrible, but you know, I'm just riding it down."
