Normie 1: Layla has a lot of drawings and stories about that "Galen Frontier Sparkle Z" anime. She's even cosplayed the characters once or twice. I just can't get how she can do that if she has never saw it or read the manga.
Normie 2: First, call her Kyochibi instead. Kyochibi is a fandom gremlin, so she usually gets into fandoms through the Internet, and sometime later may end up watching or reading some of their source material.
Normie 1: So, she's not a fan of the thing, she's a fan of the FANDOM? Well, I guess, it makes sense. She's been referring as her fics and art, as metafanon instead of fanon

Get the Fandom Gremlin mug.The world's most dangerous Insane Asylum. Full of the most criminally & mentally deranged patients out there, everything from Femboys to ROBLOX players to "Genshin Impact players" (gambling addicts)
You really don't wanna find yourself here, if you do, that probably means you either lack a proper parental figure OR you're currently unmedicated/undiagnosed for several illnesses (most common of which, is schizophrenia)
Oh, and straight people are completely banned, unless you share more than 2 or 3 common interests, than youre allowed. if not, you will be mocked and bullied before being promptly perma banned. (based)

Get the Fandom mug.Anyone who is a fan of a particular decade (whether it be the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s or 2000s). This is mostly for nostalgic reasons.
One of the most notable decade fandoms are the 90s kids. But also one of the most annoying considering how they delude themselves and think that the 90s were absolutely flawless.

Get the Decade Fandom mug.A popular website used by millions of people who really like their communities.
Here on Fandom, we can find lots of stuff, such as arguments, vandalism, 92,292,922,929 ads and underaged people who probably shouldn't be on there.
But the worst thing are the ADS. They. Are. EVERYWHERE! I can't even go on Fandom without this one Banner Ad for Best Buy or something popping up with the world's tiniest close button.
Please, just make your own website. Fandom is just an ad-wrecked wasteland. In fact, I once accidentally saw REAL GORE from a Fandom wiki...
These annoying ads and NSFW on Fandom are crazy. Some Fandom communities are more toxic than the average YouTube comments section (IYKYK), but Fandom just sucks. Please. Make. Your. Own. Wikia. Website. It will be better then the ad wasteland that we call "Fandom."

A: "Hey! Haven't you heard of the Minecraft Fandom's migration to an actually original website?"
B: "Yeah, and thank God that they have managed to salvage themselves from Fandom..."
A: "Cool! I will be ready to go on the new, migrated Minecraft wiki! Those annoying ads should stop popping up now..."

Get the Fandom mug.The act of engaging deeply with fan-produced content—such as fanfiction, fanart, video edits, commentary, and memes—of a specific fandom without having consumed the original source material. A fandom stalker selectively immerses themselves in the emotional and aesthetic aspects of a fandom, often becoming familiar with character dynamics, plot arcs, and themes through the lens of other fans. This form of participation is marked by a pick-and-choose approach: embracing what resonates while intentionally avoiding aspects of the canon that don’t appeal.
“I’ve never watched The Last of Us, but I know everything about Ellie and Joel from reading fanfic and watching TikTok edits. I guess I’m fandom stalking.”

Get the Fandom Stalking mug. When the reputation of a piece of media (such as a TV show or a video game) on the internet is soured thanks to the unsavory nature of some of its fans who have nothing to do with the media itself, usually amplified by its detractors who compile this unsavory content on sites such as YouTube, in which Fandom Rot can also be called Hatedom Rot. This can in turn prevent newcomers from wanting to check out the media for themselves, usually out of fear of being associated with those fans.
Fandom Rot can "heal" as a piece of media decreases in popularity and/or if its fans and detractors mature and either have a change of heart or move onto different things.
However, some pieces of media may be doomed to suffer from Fandom Rot forever as its fanbase becomes synonymous with it. The people who own the piece of media may also feel it's a good idea to acknowledge or insert a joke or reference about their unsavory fans within the media itself, but this usually just immortalizes the Fandom Rot as a part of the franchise.

P1: Hey, have you heard of Otto's Quest?
P2: Otto's Quest? That show sucks! The fandom is so cringe! Haven't you seen the cringe compilations?
P1: What does any of that have to do with the show itself?
P2: ...I never really thought of that. I still don't want to watch it, though.
P3: Hey guys, have you seen the newest episode where Otto meets one of his weird fans? They got the behavior down to a T!
P1: Why would they want to associate with that? The Fandom Rot has really gotten to the writers' heads.
P2: Does anyone else suddenly feel like watching Otto's Quest?
