As of beginning of 2019 they have released 1 album (8 Letters), 5 EPs (Why Don't We Just, Invitation, Something Different, A Why Don't We Christmas, and Only The Beginning), 8 singles (Cold In LA, I Don't Belong In This Club, Big Plans, Don't Change, Hooked, Trust Fund Baby, These Girls, Talk). They have collaborated with Ed Sheeran, Lauv, Logan Paul and Mackelmore. Their fans are called the "Limelights" because the first lyric of their first song was "I need you in my life like limelight". Why Don't We has 5 members in this boy band, Jonah Marais who is the oldest, Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, and Zach Herron who is the youngest. They formed the band on September 27, 2016.

They are very talented and altogether, they can play around 25 instruments and can sing and harmonise insanely well. Their albums are (by release date) Something Different, Why Don't We Just, Only The Beginning, Invitation, A Why Don't We Christmas, 8 Letters and The Good Times And The Bad Ones.

-Fans named themselves with the hashtag #WeAreLimelights and the name stuck. The idea originated from the band's first debut single, "Taking You", with its first line, "I need you in my life like limelight." They were nominated in 2018 for "Best Fan Army" for iHeartRadio Music Awards.
- Before forming a band, the boys were already solo artists. Jack had already released a song called "Liar". He had also starred in a short film called "Fearless Five." Zach used to cover songs on YouTube. Corbyn had also released his own single called "The Only One". Jonah had released his own album called When the Daylight's Gone. Daniel competed on season 14 of American Idol when he was just 15. He made it to the top nine and was voted off on his birthday.
- Corbyn's cousins are members of a famous girl group. He's related to the Dutch girl group O'G3NE.
