Growth Mindset in Mathematics

The idea that math educators should focus on effort rather than on results—that failure is part of the success equation, because a set of false starts, failures, and frustrations are often necessary or unavoidable before someone could experience some degree of mathematical progress or achievement.
To fail is no shame, but failure to try again often is. A growth mindset in mathematics is to try or fail again, while failing better or faster each time.

Growth by Development (GBD)

Definition:
Growing or leveling up by actually building yourself up—skills, mindset, discipline, or real-world value—instead of relying on luck, shortcuts, or outside boosts.
Growth by Development (GBD) is about putting in the work and improving over time. Whether it’s money, status, or personal progress, it comes from development first—growth is just the result.

new growth

Unprocessed, unaltered, hair that grows naturally from a person's scalp.

Usually associated with chemically-altered ethnic hair and transitioning hair, new growth is often easily detected. It appears thicker, with greater texture--when relaxed hair begins growing out, and/or is seen as the person's natural hair color--if hair has been color-treated.
It has been over four months since I have had a relaxer and it feels like I have an inch and a half of new growth!
