War of 1812

This is in reference to Bob's comment.
The war WAS between Canada and the States.
You have to ask yourself Bob, where did your decendents originate from. The Americians didn't row over to engage in war with the British people on their island. They picked a fight with the people who lived in Canada..therefore, they were Canadians.
I would say the Americians were far less independent then the people of Canada were during this time...Again, this topic isn't about where the people of the United States and Canada originated from.

Honking of 1812

An event that took place on 18/12, or December eighteenth for some, and happened in the year 1996. It was between two of the greatest army forces, the US military, and the geese. Both sides lost exactly 1,812 soldiers before the US were told that a goose has traveled into their ranks up and up, and could kill the military instantly. Naturally, the US retreated and asked the battle to not be recounted at all. To this da, we still don't know who exactly that sneaky goose is.
Have you heard about the honking of 1812? It was really awesome, right?

The Scuffle of 1812

The war between the corrupt forces of Ohio, led by the evil clone of Demetrius Demarcus Cousins III, and the forces of earth, led by The Great Beyonder, and Demetrius Demarcus Cousins III. This scuffle devastated the planet and killed the evil clone of Demetrius Demarcus Cousins III. Afterwards Demetrius Demarcus Cousins III rose to power and ushered in a new age for Ohio.
Old Man: "My grandfather witnessed the scuffle of 1812 and barely escaped with his life."

Child: "Whatever gramps! All of that Ohio conspiracy stuff is so fake! I bet that you read it on facebook!"
