RATM, short for Rage Against The Machine, a very unpleasent rock band, with lyrics you cant understand as its mainly screaming, you hear abit of their swearing, they like to sing about killing.
Most people had never heard of them till 2009, when they ruined the Christmas number 1 chart with their unpleasent song "Killing in the name"
Sorry but an alternative to X Factor should be something more pleasent & more known.
But one thing thats hillirious is they where only number 1 for that 1 week and then vanished forever thankgod, now we can go back to the music that isnt miserable.

The Twilight Saga the most hated book on the internet, remember when Harry Potter got all the hate from Lord of The Rings and Narnia fans well this is the same thing Harry Potter fans hating Twilight.

Leon Jackson is the 4th winner of X Factor in 2007, he had 1 album and 3 singles but sadly he was dropped and whats worse he didnt even know about it until he read about it in the newspaper.

Fame Academy, an old reality tv show from BBC abit like pop idol, except they are taught music.
The winners have been a flop.
Lemar is the only one to get famous from it and he was 3rd Place, mad.
The show only had 2 series and has now ended.

Shayne Ward is the 2nd winner of X Factor in 2005, his record label treats him like crap, but at least hes got an new album out this year called "Obsession". But after a few new singles he will probably be treated like crap again and not be back till 2014.
Shayne Ward is such an amazing singer and should be just as successful as Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke.
