A mens' formal hat characterised by a snap brim and a tapered crown with three to five creases. Usually made of felt, but sometimes out of straw.

A person who has amazing, Nostradamus-like powers of stupidity. One with the ability to foretell the obvious future.

shank

1. Dry, flaky, poor-quality marijuana, usually with seeds and stems.

2. Anything which is of extremely poor quality, poorly make, an expired prodouct.

1. I need water! This is some goddamn shank weed. Augh, my throat.

2. This is one shank-ass van, look at that rust hole in the floor-board!

1. n. The pre-meditated, organized robbery of a bank, shop, warehouse or other location

2. v. To steal any item, to take something which does not belong to you.

1. Pauly and Slim Jim planned the bank heist weeks in advance.

2. Someone heisted my car radio and all my c-d's last time I parked on that street.

One who drinks large quantities of Bass ale in a short period of time.

Jamie drank six bottles of Bass, and the night's barely begun, that dude's a Bass assassin!

a grain and a grape

Old-fashioned term for drinking two different kinds of alchohol in one night. Whiskey and wine, beer and vodka, etc. Usually discouraged, as it causes increases the effect of the alchohol, and causes insane hangovers.

Ugh, I am so hung over I can barely stand! A word from the wize: never mix a grain and a grape!

blanc

Haitian term for a white person. Usually used to describe colonial oppressors of the past, such as the French. Blanc is French for the color white. Two variations are "petit-blanc," which is a benign white person who means no harm, and "blanc-blanc," which means a colonialist, a slave-driver or other oppressor.

George Bush's actions in Haiti pretty clearly classify him as a "blanc-blanc."
