zinged

Past tense combination of "zing" and "singe," where the "zing" involves an insult, which singes (slightly burns) the recipient. Can be pronounced to rhyme with the past tense of "zing" or "singe," just to make it more interesting and to be more consistent (in terms of inconsistency) with so many other words of the English language. Usually, the insult is offered as mild, witty sarcasm or a fascetious comment where the gravity of the insult is relatively minor and the point of zinging it is calculated to achieve only a slight burn.
My daughter really zinged me when she humorously questioned my general ability to be succinct. I have never been more proud!

Spenc162

A example of a really poor effort to scam others via email. Typically, an email scam that is so poorly written, its sheer stupidity is humorous and so pathetic that you might actually feel sorry for the author, if he/she were not a lowlife attempting to scam money for a living.
That email scam was so bad it had no target audience, because anybody smart enough to read it is simply not stupid enough to buy that lame story. It was just another Spenc162, written by a doofus Yahoo, good for a laugh and proof that some would be criminals will likely be culled from the gene pool through their own inadvertence.

charlatainer

A charlatan (malicious trickster; a fake person, especially one who deceives for personal profit) who actively develops and exploits a larger audience through a role in the public media by enhancing the entertainment "value" of news topics to the detriment of the veracity of the message and, as a result, the health of public policy discussions. This results in a passionately rabid but woefully malinformed and/or excessively inflamed audience clinically disinclined to thereafter engage in reasonable discourse...resulting in a generally permanent scarring of their reality lobe.
True excellence in broadcasting is constantly eroded by the loud and passionate strains of mass media charlatainers who intentionally and calculatedly use rhetorical strategies to distort the truth in order to better stir passions of their audience for the maximum personal gain and fullest commercial exploitation of the charlatainers and their commercial and political backers.

charlatainment

Mass media programming characterized by its use of a charlatainer (i.e., a charlatan (malicious trickster; a fake person, especially one who deceives for personal profit) who actively develops and exploits a larger audience through a role in the public media by enhancing the entertainment "value" and, hence, the commercial potential, of news topics to the detriment of the veracity of the message and, as a result, the health, utility, and likelihood for progress respecting many issues which arise in public policy discussions. Charlatainment works because it is an especially insidious form of terminal addition, which results in a passionately rabid but woefully malinformed and/or excessively inflamed audience clinically disinclined to thereafter engage in reasonable discourse...apparently due to a permanent scarring of the reality lobe...
Bob said he got all of his news information via charlatainment, because he enjoyed being freed from having to think for himself, having to consider that public issues are often intrinsically complex, and because he missed the pep-rally-like fervor of being unified with a group of think-alikes engaged absolutely against a common, token adversary...and because, given the permanent damage to his reality lobe, sound-bite-level analysis was all that he remained capable of.

clustercation

"Clustercation" is a PG-ified version of the familar expression "cluster fucK," reportedly coined by U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War to refer to a situation gone wildly awry. Patterned semi-faithfully after the original compound word-set (i.e., "CLUSTER" and "FUCK"), "clustercation" is a variant compound formed from "CLUSTER" and the terminal 2-syllable fragment from the less ambitiously connotative, but more socially accepted "forniCATION." With its extra syllable, hard "k" alliteration, and distinct meter, "clustercation" may also provide a useful alternative in diverse discourse scenarios where "cluster fuck" would be permissible, but "clustercation" may yield more aesthetic appeal. Care should be taken to avoid overuse, to minimize being viewed as a magniloquent bore.
The fantastically inebriated Halloween celebrant cross-dressed as a female traffic cop instantly caused a raucously cacophonic clustercation when he ran out into the busy rush-hour intersection wildly swatting at the swarm of hornets he hallucinated all about his head and shoulders.

White Trash Exchange

Application of various disreputable and/or fraudulent strategies calculated to effect an exchange of damaged or unwanted merchandise for merchandise more desirable (e.g., not damaged or destroyed through one's own negligence or abuse), to which one would not otherwise be entitled. Closely related to "white trash rebate," "white trash refund," "white trash warranty claim," "white trash regifting," etc.
Claude's colorblindedness caused him to cross some wires and short out his new car stereo, but he remained calm because he knew he could effect a white trash exchange and likely moan and groan enough to get free installation of the replacement stereo.
