Trap Metal is a subgenre of rap that combines Metal with Trap music. Usually consisting of either heavy guitar riffs and heavy bass, or dark trap instrumentals with heavily distorted bass accompanied by gritty screaming in a rap-like cadence. Often times the lyrical content of Trap Metal songs generally revolve around topics such as violence, murder & various other criminal activities due to it's aggressive nature.
