Colloquial term for a wheel clamp. Denver was the first place they were used.

My car has four wheels each complete with its own Denver boot. I'm not going anywhere!

Any type of contestant in a game who is entered in order to cheat. For example, a professional bowler who plays in an amateur bowling match.

You lost because you were up against a ringer.

Age old colloquial way of saying relax, take it easy. Five means five minutes presumably.
