Canadian Holiday

Noun: A sarcastic name given to the practice of people applying for government's grants related to covid-19, and then using those grants to not take on new education or work to find a new job. Also known as an Expenses Paid Canadian Holiday.

I heard that Jamie is still on Canadian Holiday, she collected a CERB loan, a CEBA grant and she's still living outside of Mexico City in that commune. Now that's what I call and all expenses paid Canadian Holiday. Is that bad? Is that wrong?

Grey Swan

A large scale impactful event that, with first order second order effects, impacts over a billion people in surprising ways. Though the event is surprising, it has actually been predicted or was likely to happen based on people that call themselves futurists and economists arguing both sides of every argument. Gray swans by default tend to be negative. Covid-19 was a graceful event has defined by the The Grey Swan Guild, a global think tank that studies these types of occurrences along with Grey Rhinos, Green Swans, White Alligator, and Black Jellyfish.

Mendacious Fucks

This is the name of the sports franchise that Kara Swisher and Scott Galloway invented in March of 2024 on their podcast. Although it started as a joke they were funded by Mark Cuban to build a new tier 2 world soccer team called the Mendacious Fucks. My name is an inside joke because Scott uses that handle to insult people with a big word that they don't understand. He's basically calling people liars which is kind of a fun name for an international soccer sports franchise.

Scott laid out the challenge. He was going to take on wrexham he was going to create a billion dollar Enterprise with his partner Kara all in sports by not caring about sports at all. He was the king of the Mendacious Fucks and they were playing all attack football and selling a lot of merch.

Grey Swan Guild

The Grey Swan Guild. Is a virtual Think Tank that was formed in 2020 by a group of people around the world responding to large scale events with better tools and better communications to become more resilient. There goal is to make the world a better place through Sensemaking and Futures thinking.

We wanted to join the Grey Swan Guild in order to build out a "GSG Thousand Day Radar" ... it's one of their tools to help access the future and become more resilient. It's like TED but without all the glitz and flash.... It's the 5 weeks not the 15 minutes.

Q* pronounced Q-Star, is a special subsystem or release from the company openai.com that is said to be a massive advance and capability of large language models because it gives them the capability to use the simple math of grade school students, and to use it to plan things that are much more complex like making cryptographic codes or breaking them. It also allows for much more complex abstractions that are based on mathematics to be planned for and created by llms or generated on top of humans using chatbots.

Holy mackerel I think that we're on the way to something that is really super intelligence based on Q*, that new stuff based on reinforcement learning that got all those CEO replacements done at open AI. I think they may change the world.🤯

A smart person who creates and sells specialized AI applications or services built using generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) models, technologies and software tools from AI Platform vendors. The application can becom a viable, useful and profitable business for the person.

Etymology: Portmanteau word. A blend of GPT, representing the machine learning models developed by OpenAI, + entrepreneur, referring to someone who sets up and runs a new business.
