Pickle

Game played by children requiring only a ball and a wall. Similar to spread eagle except score is kept instead of the hitting of other players with the ball. Origin of the namerefers to the status of the person who fails to catch the ball, and stemming from the phrase 'is in a pickle'.

brown out

A partial loss of power similar to a blackout, but with less intensity. May cause lights to flicker, electronic devices to turn on/off spontaneusly, etc.

1) Someone who voluntarily decided to stay where they are (i.e. for life).
2) (Mil.) An enlisted soldier or officer that decides to re-enlist to go career
