Generation Z is the generation that were kids in the 2000s and 2010s, and are teenagers/young adults/tweens in the late 2010s to 2020s. If you are currently in 2022 below the age of 26 and older than 5, you're going to get called a zoomer.

Zoomer existence is marked by egirls, eboys, tiktok, discord, spotify, VRchat, roblox, brocoli haircuts and mullets. Popular music includes Tyler the Creator, Playboi Carti, ASAP Rocky, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, the Weeknd, the Garden, hyperpop like Charli XCX, breakcore like Sewerslvt, obscure rap scenes like Bladee and draingang, and of course bedroom indie pop like Clairo, Mild High Club, Beabadoobee and Mac Demarco. Popular TV shows include Euphoria, Sex Education, Stranger Things, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kakegurui and Attack on Titan.

Gen Z was too young or not born yet during 9/11, and (mostly) were in high school/middle school/college during quarantine. Some were in the work force and some not yet in middle school.

According to Wikipedia, Google, Pew Research and even congress, Gen Z was born from 1997 to 2012. However, many elitists who do not want to be associated with kids try to change it to 2000-2009, despite the societal reality of those kids being teenagers very soon after them and being seen as zoomers by the general public. It is likely Gen Z may even be lengthened in the future depending on the cultural path of the 2020s.
Generation Z is sandwiched between middle aged adults and unborn fetuses.
