1)describing a situation that is diverse or disorganized.

2)describing a person with a wide range of skills or interests.

1)we can't stay in business if our finances are gonna be all over the map like this.

2)if you travel all over the world, you could end up being all over the map.

it's a well known fact that many corporations have politicians in their back pocket, thats why it seems like they're the ones really running things.
