pregame

n. To drink before going to a party. This most often happens because they party where you are going to will be carding and you are under or because you want to drink something hard to start your night off. Often pregaming happens at the house and involves taking shots.
v. The act of partaking in a pregame.

1) We really need to pregame tonight before we go out.
2) I really pregamed heavily last night. I feel really sick now.

Mixer

A party where a fraternity and a sororty get together to drink and socialize. Often held at the fraternity or at their annex.

I went to our mixer with X last night, and it rocked.

Live in

Living in your fraternity or sorority house.

I love living in. All the girls around all the time is great for my gossip quotient.

bartab

A mixer where a fraternity and a sorority pay for a tab at a bar and drink until it is gone.

I went to the bartab last night with X and the beer flowed freely for hours.

Crush Party

A party where you get a certain number of "crushes," which are invitations, to give out to your friends who are not in your house.

Wow our crush party last night was a lot of fun. I got really sick, though.

Jesus Camp

Christian camps and retreats. Usually very fundamentalist and scarry, with the ultimate goal of brainwashing everyone into christian conformity.

My mom sent me to jesus camp, but I got sent home early for not conforming quickly enough.

Annex

An alternate location for a fraternity or sorority house. When there is no more room at the house, or when you are a senior and you want to live out.

I went to the X frat annex last night in CTown. It was an awesome party.
