Wagener Terrace is everything Monks Corner is not; uber artsy, totally fit, very musical, doesn’t care if your single or married, very diverse, open-minded, hip, delicious, friendly, any religion or no religion, community minded, walkable, progressive, historic and cozy.
Man oh man…Sullivan’s Island can be stifling for a dynamic personality…lets go to Wagener Terrace and see what the cool kids are doing!

Although it can refer to one wild as hell night on the town a "body wrecker" is usually a friend or family member that we love but who blows into town throwing caution to the wind...drinking, constant drinking, waffle house, krystals,zaxby's...then....more drinking, and you get the picture. After they leave you have to do sprints, make yourself vomit & eat only veggie burgers for a month to return to your previous weight.

North Central, Charleston is a neighborhood on the Charleston Peninsula of artist, writers, and musicians adjacent to the equally hip sections of Wagener Terrace and Hampton Park. Creatives and trendsetters spill from fashionable sidewalk cafe’s and pubs that surround Upper King, Morrison Drive, and Rutledge Ave, while an eclectic dining scene features dive bars, artisan coffee houses, bbq restaurants and smart gastropubs. Historically settled by French Huguenots, the landscape is now defined by Victorian, early 20th century bungalows and vernacular architecture. Here too is the site of the famed Palace Auditorium where Elvis Presley and The Allman Brothers Band once performed. The neighborhood is also the terminus of the future low line greenway that will traverse the Charleston Peninsula. North Central is a desirable home for all walks of life; forever singles, diverse families and a mix of ethnic backgrounds harmoniously exist here.

North Central, Downtown Charleston is a neighborhood of artist, writers, and musicians adjacent to the equally hip neighborhoods of Wagener Terrace and Hampton Park. Creatives and trendsetters fill the fashionable cafe’s and pubs within the environs of Upper King, Morrison Drive, and Rutledge Ave, while an eclectic dining scene features everything from speakeasy styled restaurants, breweries and dive bars to artisan coffee houses and gastropubs. Art supply stores and galleries mix with shops selling authentic french pastries in sidewalk al fresco settings. The landscape is defined by early 20th century bungalows and vernacular architecture. Here too is the site of the famed Palace Auditorium where Elvis Presley and The Allman Brothers Band once performed. This area first settled by French Huguenots who escaped religious persecution is the terminus of the future "Low Line" greenway. The familial and ethnic diversity of this section makes it a desirable home for all walks of life. Forever singles, young marrieds, progressive middle agers and retired long time residents share this inclusive enclave. Also, Bill Murray owns several bars in the area...which is nice.

Central Florida is a region of the Southern U.S. state of Florida and located in the central part of the state, including the Tampa Bay and Orlando area. It is one of Florida's three directional regions, along with North Florida and South Florida. It includes the following counties: Brevard, Citrus, Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lake, Manatee, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia. Central Florida. It is the home to historic Cypress Gardens, The Yearling, Florida Crackers, Cowboy Culture, Strawberry Festivals, Orange Groves, Natural Springs, Many Lakes, lots of fishing, hunting, and water skiing. Some Natives include John Anderson, Delta Burke, Mel Tillis, Pam Tillis, Gov. Lawton Chiles. Central Florida is still Southern, just not as Southern as Northern Florida....Orlando, well Disney happened....and then in Tampa the cubans came to roll cigars...but other than that its cracker country.
