Apathostic

A religious philosophy where the adherent, while recognising that there may or may not be a higher power at work in the universe, just simply doesn't care.

I was reading an epic flame war between Atheists and Theists about the nature of God, and I realised that I simply don't care if it's true or not. I think I've become Apathostic.

Roadrunner 

In science and engineering when a system failure (preferably of a large experimental system due to simple design or operator error) is so spectacular that it is reminiscent of the Acme Corporation product failures from the Road Runner cartoon series.

So then this fifty million dollar rocket went totally Roadrunner and slammed into the desert in a thousand mile an hour fireball, all because he forgot to convert to metric.

Mac 

Something that is not politically correct (PC).

From the idea that a Microsoft/IBM/Windows personal computer (PC) and an Apple Macintosh (Mac) are opposites.

Those old Looney Tunes WWII propaganda cartoons are so un-PC they're a Mac.

Name inspired by PETAs 'Sea Kitten' campaign to re-brand fish as cute animals and their subsequent objections to Barack Obama's killing of a fly during a news conference.

Aww - don't kill that fly! They're Sky Kittens you know. You wouldn't swat a kitten!! ...or would you?
