Self-Esteem

Refers to the way in which people view themselves and their worth.
Low self-esteem is a common symptom of depression. Signs include shyness, anxiety about appearance or competence, feelings of worthlessness and unnecessary guilt or shame.

Male friend: You were looking so good in your booty shorts at the gym that I had to put sweatpants on to hide my boner!

When one partner depends so much on the other that it causes anxiety, exhaustion and results in confusion and unhappiness.

Mom 1: My daughter's boyfriend is so codependent on her that you can't even tell who he is without her.
Mom 2: That's extremely unhealthy when you can't tell where one person ends and the other begins.
