Tough

An image too many full of shit people in the world go for, especially the ones that think the world is full of innocent bystanders.

The dork tried to look, sound, and act tough and insensitive every waking minute of her day, even though some of us knew her as a kid, and saw how she handled/bore physical pain when there was no attention from the media or public to be had. Back when her mother was the one she ran to for attention and first aid.

Innocent people

There is no such thing as innocent people, or innocent bystanders. Everybody has done something wrong in their life, everybody has sinned because they are human, and they are inhuman. There are 2 kinds of people in the world, the people that deep down know they deserve to suffer, and the people that don't know they deserve to suffer.

There are no innocent people in the world, people are not animals. Animals are innocent.

Urgency

A lot of times, people say somebody needs more of a sense of urgency about something they want them to panic about. Needing a new heart to live, or missing a few body parts seems more like something you would have a sense of urgency about than the NBA playoffs, but even then life is worth losing, so what is so important or urgent about it?

Urgency is an overused word if people are starting to refer to the NBA playoffs or any other sports games, no matter the stakes or bets involved, as something to get urgent about.

Shorthanded

Being shorthanded isn't the same thing as not being ready.

The team was demoralized and discouraged because they knew they were shorthanded, not because they weren't ready.

Charlotte Hornets

No matter who tries to tell them they had the wrong mindset, they fought to the end and didn't change for anyone. Their fans would take that over becoming a different team just to win a game any day.

The Charlotte Hornets made it to where they made it. There was nothing stunning about them not making the playoffs, people saw it coming from as soon as the media started adding hype and excitement about the playoffs well before the end of the season, some of us knew something would happen to throw them off course, and it turned out to be the injuries.
