NND

Non-Negotiable Demand. An unreasonable request by a friend or associate, usually issued the way a petulant child would demand his toy or his blankie.

For those old enough to remember, it was common during the 1970's for militant organizations to set up a table on a college campus and loudly announce "We Have The Following List of Non-Negotiable Demands."

Julius called me and made an NND that I pay his phonebill this month.

ITPAC

"Is the pope a Catholic?"

Used as an answer to any question that is already obvious.

Pronounced it-pak.

I asked a teenager if he was hungry and wanted to eat. The immediate answer was "ITPAC!!"

PIBR

Phone Induced Brain Rot: The not-so-gradual reduction in our attention spans due to constant use of smartphones, to the point that it becomes more and more difficult to read more than 10 pages or so at a time -- even in a good book.

I started to read "Fire and Fury" and despite it being really interesting, I couldn't plow through more than a few pages at a time. PIBR, I guess.
