Lipstick lesbian is a slang term for a woman who is romantically and sexually interested in other women (that's the lesbian part) and also exhibits feminine traits like wearing dresses or skirts, high heeled shoes and makeup (hence 'lipstick'), sympathy, gentleness and sensitivity.

NB a woman who is a lesbian doesn't necessarily hate men, she just isn't romantically interested in having a relationship with a man.
Bob: 'Wow, that girl Janine is fit, I'd love to be in a relationship with with her'.
Sean: 'Sorry bob, she's a lipstick lesbian, she wouldn't be interested'.
Bob: 'Damn it'!
