Get the Pockymug. 1.A word that is inserted randomly into a sentence. Most people use it just because they're used to it, even some English teachers, and they won't use it when writing but will say it without meaning to. It used to be what you said instead of "um" but not people are so used to it they say,"Like, um..."
2."so I was all like" means "I said"
2."so I was all like" means "I said"
1.So I went to the mall and there was this, like, really cute shirt. And I, like, asked how much it cost.
2.So the guy was all like,"You should use proper english and say 'I said'," and I was like,"Don't, like, tell me how to talk..."

Get the likemug. A controversial movie directed by Mel Gibson that came out in 2004. It is about the last twelve hours of Jesus Christ's life.
This shows the different views on this movie:
Christian Guy: Did you see The Passion Of The Christ? I loved it, was uplifting and now I love God more than ever.
Not-Religious Guy: I hated it, it was too bloody.
Aethiest: I didn't like it because it's just stupid Christians scaring children into being Christian.
Guy Who Does Not Exist: I'm pretty nuetral about the movie.

Get the 1337mug. In real life--
Able to read and write.
In roleplaying--
A good roleplayer. Specifically, a literate roleplayer does not use chatspeak, spells word correctly, and has proper usage and grammar. Literates are less likely to be desperates or n00bs and generally roleplays well.
If you see a thread with "LITERATE ROLEPLAY/LITERATES ONLY" in the subject line, it means they only accept people who have good grammar.

1. The literacy rate is 97% in America, meaning 97% of Americans can read and write.
2. The difference between a literate roleplayer and an advanced roleplayer is that being advanced specifically states that you are good at writing (i.e. descriptions, characters) but literate just means you have good grammar, although they're often used interchangeably.
